Hokkai Transportation Co., Ltd. was established as a member of the “K” LINE Group in 1964. Including the days since our previous incarnation was founded in 1925 as Nakano Kaisou-ten, we have provided logistics services with a focus on Hokkaido for 100 years.

We perform our part to support Hokkaido logistics, offering such services through two businesses. Broadly speaking, the land transportation business undertakes Land-Sea through Transit by deploying a fleet of roughly 1,000 trailers and 100 tractor heads used together with coastal RO/RO vessels, and based on the linchpin of import and export customs clearance as an Authorized Economic Operator, there is the International Intermodal Transport and Customs Clearance business, which is engaged in marine container shipping, air cargo handling, cargo warehousing, shipping agency services, cargo booking agency services for ocean-going container companies, NVOCC and others.
