For over 90 years since our predecessor, Nakano Kaisou-ten, was established in Kushiro, Hokkai Transportation Co., Ltd. has woven a fabric of history in which we have overcome a myriad of hardships.

We become the company we are today in 1964, when Hokkai Transportation was established as a core group company of Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd.

We now have a fleet of over 1,000 trailers, and with our linchpin of marine transport based on domestic RO/RO ships, we pick up and deliver cargo nationwide, from Hokkaido to Kyushu.

Moreover, as a comprehensive logistics company, we play our part in providing the logistics service that supports Japan. Our operation is diverse, from import and export customs clearance as an Authorized Economic Operator, to marine container shipping, air cargo handling, cargo warehousing, shipping agency services, quarantine services, cargo booking agency services for ocean-going container companies, NVOCC and others.

Due to the spread of COVID-19, the society is undergoing a significant change. Even in such a situation, we promote changes in working style with a constant focus on compliance, and each and every employee is striving each day in order to safely and securely, steadily and swiftly provide services that are friendly to the environment. By doing so, Hokkai Transportation aims to become a company that benefits the society through its logistics services.
